Restorative Sound

Restorative sound sessions offer a gentle, supportive space for rest and nervous system settling through sound. Working with simple, resonant instruments, the emphasis is on slowing down, listening, and allowing the body to soften — rather than on performance or outcome.

Restorative Sound

In each session, I work with a curated set of hand-hammered Tibetan sound bowls — tuned under the full moon in India and rich in layered tones. As the bowls are gently played, their resonant frequencies wash through your body and energy field, supporting emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deep inner balance. You simply lie down, rest, and allow the sound to do its work — no experience or effort required.

This work sits alongside my counselling and nature-based practice and reflects the same therapeutic values of care, containment, and respect for individual experience.

Restorative sound sessions are offered as a supportive practice and are not a substitute for counselling or medical care.

This practice may suit those who are seeking a non-verbal, body-based way of resting and reconnecting, or who are curious about sound as a supportive presence alongside other therapeutic work.

Group sessions

Accessible, intimate, and gently held, these small group sessions provide a shared space to rest, reflect, and connect through sound. Participants experience the resonance in a supportive, contained environment, allowing calm and presence to emerge naturally.

Individual sessions

Accessible and gently held, these one-to-one sessions provide a personalised space to rest, reflect, and connect with yourself through sound. Sessions are tailored to your pace and needs, and instruments are experienced up close, allowing the subtle vibrations and resonance to support calm, presence, and self-awareness.
£35 per 1 hour session

At this time, I only offer mobile sessions —I bring the bowls to your home or chosen space within Edinburgh. You’ll need to provide a quiet room and bring your own mat, blanket, or anything that helps you feel comfortable. If you’re organising a small group and need a suitable space, please get in touch to discuss options and availability.
